Chase Carter
CPA, Partner
Chase joined Haynes Downard, LLP after earning an accounting degree from the University of Montevallo. He credits his mindset and core development to his many mentors in the United States Marine Corps, who spent years shaping his character and instilling values that guide him every day. This formative period instilled in him a deep desire to have an impact on others, which clearly shines through his work.
His core focus lies in assisting our clients with complex accounting issues while performing audit and attestation engagements. As an avid reader (and podcast listener), he stays on top of changes in tax law and financial reporting standards to help navigate the ever-changing landscape of business.

After hours, Chase spends his time with his wife Bri and their two kids (with the occasional break for a concert or two).
